Truly a candle-making EXPERIENCE! My husband and I enjoyed our date night at Pumarosa. The staff made us feel welcome and their passion is palpable. Plus, our candles turned out beautifully!! We will definitely be using them for a long, long time. Thank you, Pumarosa!

I've always cared about sustainability, and safe, healthy ingredients so I only bought 100% soy and lead-free wick candles. Through their in-store and custom candle making experiences, Pumarosa raises all the bars for quality, indulgence, education and customer service. For example, now that I know candles should also be phthalate, paraben, paraffin, preservative, emulsifiers and cruelty-free (yuck!), they've ruined other candle brands for me - why settle for less? - Furthermore, and most impressively, they've intentionally priced their hand-poured candles with the belief that everyone deserves access to safe and healthy products. It's rare to find a company that takes pride in going above and beyond, and truly cares about people over profits.

I really enjoy these candles. I live on the East Coast and have these delivered after a friend visited Seattle and told me of the wonderful experience she had. Also, the customer service is excellent. I enjoy supporting small businesses but one of the complaints is that customer service isn't always a strong point. However, I must commend them for their great customer service. There was an issue with the shipping on the website; I sent a message, which I received a prompt response and follow up once the issue was resolved. The candles are just really amazing. You can tell they are made in both love and passion. I look forward to trying out more scents. Highly recommend, especially if you can't make it out to Seattle and would like to try the candles- shipping is fast and they arrive very personalized.

I can't say enough good things about this local gem!! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm smile and the best candles. I attended a candle-making experience with my family, and we were all over the moon the entire time. The experience is super educational and fun! Jon and Vanessa, the business owners, are incredibly sweet and made the experience even more special by doing it in Spanish for my family. We loved it so much that the second we left, we were already planning our next visit. Pumarosa is a small business that puts so much care into every aspect of their business. If you're in Seattle, I highly recommend this activity. It's a wonderfully calming experience and most importantly, you'll leave with memories to cherish every time you light up your own candle at home!
